I know it is very ungrateful to ask other artists to help them in choosing the photographs, because each of us has a particular style, taste, color preference, or vice versa, another person has their own different set of thoughts. How then, should the photographer decide when facing a dilemma as I am today? The same two photos, one in color, the other black and white. My basic guiding idea for the creation of this photograph was an abstraction that occurred as a combination of light, water, trees and the line created by the duck which has disrupted the rhythm. The color variant seems to me that the color really nicely contributes to the abstraction. But in the absence of color, rhythm is more pronounced.
To leave both can lead the viewer in the same dilemma and don't we as a photographer need to be the one that makes that choice for them?
Well then, what do you think and why is one better than other by your opinion?

I like the color version this time. The b&w is a little busy, distracting. Maybe if the high lights were burned in, I would find it more appealing. Just my opinion.

Thanks Steve :) You are the second one who vote for the color version but the reasons were different.
